Job Details:
- Direct Hire
- Hours: Normal Business Hours
- Hybrid Work Schedule - Work from home 2 days per week
- Pay: Up to 70k, Based on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Processes bi-weekly payroll for all employees and handles special payroll runs, such as off-cycle payments.
- Collects, calculates, and inputs payroll data.
- Reviews and audits timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
- Works with contracted payroll company to prepare and submit accurate tax reports and year-end forms, such as W-2s.
- Addresses and resolves employee questions and concerns related to paychecks, deductions, and timesheets.
- Reviews all new hire paperwork for accuracy and ensures all new hires are correctly entered into the payroll / benefits systems.
- Processes unemployment claims.
- Serve as key point person for all health and welfare benefit-related questions.
- Process all benefit invoices for payment.
- Manage benefit enrollment process.
- Coordinate the annual Open Enrollment process with the benefits broker including presentations and meetings.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (two-five years) experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn and stay current with the technology & systems used.
