PeopleShare has an opening for an Inventory Control Specialist in Pennsauken, NJ. This role is focused on inventory cycle counts in the warehouse, and accountability for root cause analysis and explaining this data to multiple stakeholders and the customer service team. To be considered, the candidate must have strong experience with analyzing inaccuracies in inventory. Must have previous experience with customer service, as this role is the liaison between the Warehouse and Customer Service team.

Job description
Inventory Control Specialist is a position in our order fulfillment warehouse. In this role, you will act as the bridge that creates the partnership between the customer service and warehouse teams. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around inventory maintenance, customer returns and order amendments. Responsibilities
- Process amends and fulfill orders by quality checking all inventory for replacement orders
- Research customer issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages, and recommend appropriate response
- Inspect and process return orders to management to ensure proper/timely credit is refunded to customers
- Repackage and restock inventory for merchandise that is required to be resold
- Report discrepancies to proper personnel, with the opportunity to recommend changes to procedures that may increase productivity
- Manages warehouse stock, parts locations, and maintains housekeeping standards
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies
- Lead training for all new hires and/or team members who are either applying to be cross-trained or switching departments
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by the leadership team
