Position Overview for Order Selector
As an Order Selector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of our premium products. You will safely receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment, working closely with our team to maintain our high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities for Order Selector
- Prioritize safety as the top priority for all PeopleShare employees.
- Read and interpret customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions.
- Safely transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas.
- Sort and place materials on racks and shelves according to size, type, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping.
- Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts received or distributed.
- Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements for Order Selector
Physical Requirements for Order Selector
- Ability to mount/dismount forklifts using three points of contact.
- Manual material handling involving gripping, squeezing, and pinching.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
