Lead the Financial Strategy of a Fast-Paced Intermodal Logistics Company
We’re hiring a hands-on, strategic Controller to guide financial operations at the intersection of logistics and growth. If you bring deep experience in drayage, intermodal, or transportation and you’re ready to lead financial decision-making that directly impacts business performance- this is your seat at the table.
Key Details
- Salary: $95,000–$110,000
- Bonus: 10–15% based on performance
- Location: Onsite, with hybrid potential after onboarding

Your Role
You’ll be a financial architect. Shaping strategy, streamlining costs, and unlocking profitability across lanes and customers.
- Own monthly reporting: P&L, cash flow, balance sheet
- Build dashboards and insights for leadership
- Manage AP/AR, cash flow, and banking relationships
- Lead budget creation, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Oversee compliance (GAAP, IFTA, IL EPA, etc.), audits, and risk
- Coach a small but high-impact finance team
What You Bring
- 5+ years in a senior finance/controller role
- Experience in drayage, intermodal, or logistics is REQUIRED
- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific compliance
- Strong in Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
- Analytical mindset, leadership presence, and sharp communication
