Are you passionate about food safety, regulatory excellence, and being the face of quality for a facility? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Coordinator to play a vital, outward-facing role in managing key relationships with customers and regulatory bodies while ensuring full compliance across the plant.
In this hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of customer audits, regulatory inspections, documentation control, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll serve as a trusted liaison between our facility and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency, accountability, and trust.
🌟 What You'll Do
- Be the go-to contact for customers, third-party partners, and regulatory agencies—representing our facility with confidence and professionalism.
- Lead the charge on audit preparation and execution, ensuring we’re always ready to shine.
- Manage all customer requests, documentation updates, and compliance questionnaires with efficiency and care.
- Own document control processes, not just for this site but supporting the broader North American team as needed.
- Drive our Food Safety Culture forward—collaborating cross-functionally and participating in key initiatives.
- Bring expertise to the First Batch/NPC process, ensuring alignment with our Food Safety Plan and customer expectations.
- Partner with the Plant Training Coordinator to support key training initiatives.
- Champion our internal FSQS audit program—actively identifying risks and reinforcing best practices.
- Ensure plant-wide compliance to FSQS requirements including GMP, Food Safety Plans, and BRC standards.
- Keep our team informed and aligned through weekly communication board updates.
- Build and maintain reporting tools, spreadsheets, and compliance databases to support business operations.
- Take on special projects to elevate our standards and drive continuous improvement.
🧠 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in Food Safety & Quality Systems within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of GFSI requirements (BRC knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and working with diverse data systems.
- A calm, capable presence under pressure—able to juggle high-profile priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills and professionalism across all levels, from frontline to executive.
