Machine Operator 4
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:55 PM – 11:05 PM
3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:55 PM – 7:05 AM
Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hr (based on experience)
Job Overview:
As a Machine Operator 4, you will operate and support a variety of automated production equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety practices, and production goals are met. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Operate and assist with machines in areas such as:
• Assembly
• Injection Molding
• Machining
• Quality Lab
Perform preventative maintenance and machine adjustments
Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Complete documentation and production tracking in the SPC system
Load feeder bowls, stock machines, and label containers accurately
Maintain accurate part counts and prepare finished products for shipment
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
Rotate between departments and support rework/inspections as needed
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined; able to perform minor machine adjustments
Experience working with machines, tools, or automotive equipment preferred
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Basic math skills and familiarity with the metric system
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
