Machine Operator Job Details:
- Schedule: M-F 7am-3:15pm
- Pay Rate: $17
Machine Operator Job Description:
A. Operate and monitor production machines to produce telephone wire insulators.
B. Follows any “special” instructions (EN, etc.) which may have been assigned.
C. Follows quality requirements.
D. Follows operating documentation.
E. Reports any defects to utility operator immediately.
F. Keeps work area clean at all times.
G. Stays “constructively” busy during downtime moments.
H. Completes (legible) appropriate paperwork’s and turns in timely.
I. Coordinates daily activities with utility operator.
J. Rotates breaks and lunches as needed.
K. Periodically checks machinery and tools for proper working condition.
L. Capable of proper die alignment.
M. Follows crimping pressure log and applies correctly to applicable hardware.
N. Ensures proper quantities are being followed.
O. Trains new operators when needed.
P. Troubleshoots problematic issues.
Q. Ensures samples are done accordingly.
R. Follows all safety rules and guideline.
S. Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
T. Reports to assigned meetings on a timely basis.
U. Lifts up to 50lbs consistently
