Job Title: CNC Programmer
Salary: $70,000-$85,000 (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Occasional overtime on Saturdays from 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM, or the option to come in earlier during the week.

Job Summary:
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming and maintaining current file revisions of all client parts. This role requires interpreting engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts, working directly with clients' engineers, and reverse engineering parts for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will make machine and tooling selections to ensure cost-effective part manufacturing, design, and request procurement of necessary tools. Additionally, the programmer will prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets, and utilize CAD/CAM software to continuously improve run time and programming time. The ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment is a MUST.

Job Requirements:
Key Abilities & Knowledge:
- Attention to Detail
- Mathematics: Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and their applications.
- Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production and interpretation of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models, specifically for sheet metal manufacturing.
- Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials used in sheet metal manufacturing, production processes, bend deductions, turret punch press tooling, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective goods manufacturing.
- Time Management: Ability to organize tasks by importance and use time effectively to complete all work promptly.
- Engineering: Engineering experience/background with strong mechanical aptitude is helpful.
- G Codes: Ability to understand G Codes, including the ability to write, edit, and troubleshoot production and technical issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of programming experience with CNC Punch Press for Sheet Metal Fabrication. Experience programming CNC Lasers is helpful but not required.
- REQUIRED: Working knowledge of SolidWorks (must have used for sheet metal fabrication), CAMWorks, and a computerized nesting software (preferably SigmaNEST).
- Minimum of 3 years with CAD/CAM proficiency. The focus is on CAM programming, regardless of whether it's specifically for sheet metal or not.
