We are currently seeking skilled and reliable 1st shift, Coater Operators and Tablet Press Operators to join a top pharmaceutical manufacturing team on a Temp-to-Hire basis.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience operating coating or tablet press machinery in a GMP-regulated environment. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills in English, and a commitment to safety and quality are essential.
Coater Operator Duties:
Set up, operate, and monitor coating machines to ensure consistent and uniform tablet coating per specifications.
Make machine setting adjustments for optimal performance.
Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
Identify and resolve mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
Perform in-process quality checks for coating uniformity, appearance, and adhesion.
Follow all GMP and SOP standards for cleanliness and safety.
Maintain accurate records of batches, machine settings, and production output.
Work closely with QA and other team members to ensure compliance and product quality.
Tablet Press Operator Duties:
Set up, operate, and monitor tablet press machines for pharmaceutical tablet production.
Fine-tune settings to meet compression specifications (weight, hardness, thickness).
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press machinery.
Identify issues and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime.
Conduct in-process checks and ensure tablet output meets quality standards.
Adhere strictly to GMP guidelines and company SOPs.
Record production details, including any deviations, and communicate them effectively.
Partner with QA and production team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience as a Coater or Tablet Press Operator in the pharmaceutical industry.
Working knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
