Title: Collections Representative
Location: Gibbsboro, NJ 08026
Salary: $18-20/hr to start (Future commission with potential of $50-60k/year)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Excellent ability to establish rapport with people from diversified backgrounds to ascertain payment on their account;
Working knowledge of medical billing as well as medical terminology, ex: co-pays, deductible;
The primary responsibility of the Collections Specialist is to ensure effective collections on all patient accounts
Ability to read, understand, interpret and resolve payer denials
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy required
Requirements:
- 6-12 months of previous debt collection experience
- Experience with medical collections a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
