Are you an experienced machine operator with a background in metal fabrication? We are seeking a Fiber Laser Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have experience operating CNC laser equipment and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC fiber laser equipment to manufacture sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Load materials, perform machine setups, and monitor production runs.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
- Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming parts.
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience operating CNC fiber laser equipment or similar metal fabrication machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform machine setup, inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
- Forklift experience, sheet metal fabrication experience, and Lean/5S knowledge are a plus.
