Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to join a growing warehouse team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring inventory records are up to date within warehouse management systems. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory control experience, strong Excel skills, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts, as well as full physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including packing, unpacking, and verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Accurately maintain inventory records using inventory management and ERP systems.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve inventory issues.
- Process vendor returns and defective materials as needed.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory of electrical components, tools, and equipment.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and inventory software to track inventory movement and reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience required.
- Experience using inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Prior warehouse experience in a manufacturing, engineering, electrical, or industrial environment preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical or power distribution components is a strong plus.
- Experience working with ERP inventory software and database systems.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Trade school education or electrical background preferred.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
