We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing and production team in Cranbury, NJ. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work in various areas of production including assembly, packaging, material handling, cutting operations, and general warehouse support.
Temp to hire Manufacturing Associate
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay range: $19.00 - $22.00/hr (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to specifications and drawings
- Operate production equipment, power tools, and shop machinery safely and efficiently
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices
- Package, crate, and prepare finished products for shipment
- Assist with pallet building, material handling, and loading/unloading freight
- Perform cutting, tapping, and fabrication tasks as required
- Utilize scanners and other production systems to track work orders
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Report production issues or concerns to supervisors and team leads
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, carpentry, construction, or packaging experience preferred
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
