CNC Machine Operator II – 2nd Shift
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM–3:30 AM
Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) for approximately 90 days
Pay: $22.00–$25.00/hr + 7.5% Shift Differential

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC grinding and machining equipment while producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC grinding and machining equipment
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators
- Make minor program adjustments and machine offsets
- Set up and use gauge heads and inspection equipment
- Dress grinding wheels and replace diamonds
- Deburr finished parts and prepare for next operations
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Read and follow work instructions and process sheets
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- CNC setup experience and ability to make minor program adjustments
- Experience with precision measuring tools and hand tools
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience with tight-tolerance machining preferred
