PeopleShare is seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruiter to join our growing team in Frederick, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and placing top talent in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about helping candidates find meaningful employment while supporting client hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and place candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire positions.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
- Prepare and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers and clients.
- Maintain active job postings on platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate interviews and provide interview preparation and coaching.
- Assist candidates with resume development and career guidance.
- Conduct orientations and onboarding activities for new hires.
- Ensure compliance with PeopleShare hiring practices, including background checks, drug screenings, references, and required documentation.
- Manage multiple job openings simultaneously while meeting performance metrics and placement goals.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records within company systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, interviewing, hiring, customer service, or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High sense of urgency and ability to move processes forward quickly.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working toward performance goals and key metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Proven history of reliability and strong job tenure preferred.
