Stack Assembly Operator
Location: Westminster, MD
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM (9/80 Schedule, off every other Friday)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stack Assembly Operator to join a manufacturing production team. This position is responsible for processing, preparing, and assembling components used in the production process while maintaining strict quality, safety, and documentation standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to work instructions, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Receive materials and components from the logistics department.
- Prepare, sort, organize, and dry materials and parts for production.
- Accurately document production activities and product information.
- Stack products according to established procedures and quality requirements.
- Operate high-temperature vacuum ovens and industrial degreasers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Adhere to all quality standards and safety guidelines.
- Communicate process issues or product concerns to supervisors, leads, or engineers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and assembly procedures.
- Ability to count, sort, and handle delicate components.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and production processes.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following strict safety standards.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, lab coats, grounding/ESD equipment, and safety shoes when required.
