Stack Inspector/Assembly Operator
Location: Westminster, MD
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM (9/80 Schedule, Off every other Friday)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stack Inspector/Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting assembled components to ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering drawings, and assembly procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect assembled products to verify conformance with specifications, drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Operate vision inspection systems and production equipment.
- Receive completed assemblies and perform detailed quality inspections.
- Identify and document defects, including chips, cracks, improper orientation, quantity discrepancies, and other quality concerns.
- Complete accurate production and inspection documentation.
- Operate high-temperature and vacuum ovens as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Communicate quality concerns and process anomalies to operators, leads, supervisors, and engineers.
- Follow all company quality standards and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to identify defects and irregularities in products and materials.
- Ability to accurately interpret work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to count, sort, and handle delicate components.
- Ability to follow strict safety and quality standards.
- Manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or quality control experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, lab coats, grounding/ESD equipment, and safety shoes when required.
