This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment by cleaning equipment, supporting waste management activities, performing basic preventative maintenance, and assisting with general production support tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, sanitation, janitorial, housekeeping, or general labor experience.
General Laborer Job Details:
- Schedule: 1st shift Monday–Friday, 6am-2:30pm OR 1nd shift Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm
- Pay Rate: 1st shift $20/hr OR 2nd shift $22/hr
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Location: Macungie, PA
General Laborer Responsibilities:
- Clean production vessels, hocks, and related equipment.
- Respond to and clean spills and leaks promptly to maintain workplace safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Assist with waste handling and waste management activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the production area.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Support production operations as needed.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
General Laborer Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, sanitation, housekeeping, or general labor experience preferred.
- Skilled in safe hand tool operation, inventory accuracy, and maintaining safety standards.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements.
