Overnight CNC Machine Operator Job Details:
Schedule: 3rd shift hours
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $23.00/hour, based on experience (Shift differential available)

Overnight CNC Machine Operator Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC machine tools to manufacture precision metal parts and components.
- Operate additional equipment including horizontal boring mills and CNC vertical and horizontal lathes.
- Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Measure, mark, and identify dimensions and reference points for machining operations.
- Select, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, attachments, and materials on mills, lathes, and grinders.
- Calculate and adjust machining factors including speeds, feeds, coolant flow, depth of cut, and tooling angles.
- Monitor machine operation, identify issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished components to verify conformance to specifications and close tolerances.
- Assist with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs as needed.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost savings.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Overnight CNC Machine Operator Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience.
- Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or equivalent training preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
- CNC programming experience is a plus.
- Experience with Mori Seiki, Okuma, and Haas machines is preferred.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Ability to hold close tolerances and perform detailed component inspections.
- Demonstrated ability to set up and operate multiple CNC machines with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of tooling geometry, feeds, speeds, and machining applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
