Facilities Support Technician
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $17.75/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Support Technician to assist with general upkeep and daily operations around the shop. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, helping where needed, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shop
Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and break areas
Support general upkeep of common areas (lunchrooms, bathrooms, workspaces)
Assist with assembling office furniture and basic setup tasks
Help with clean-up from company events (ex: monthly BBQs, dishes, etc.)
Respond to minor maintenance needs (e.g., clogged toilets, spills, small fixes)
Provide general support to the team as needed
Requirements
Previous experience in general labor, janitorial, or maintenance work preferred
Ability to handle a variety of tasks and stay organized
Comfortable with physical work (lifting, standing, moving throughout the day)
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
