THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to serve as the critical gatekeeper for our
shipping and receiving operations. In this role, you will be the final line of defense, ensuring that every raw
material entering our facility and every finished product leaving it meets our rigorous food safety and quality
standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inbound Inspection: Verify cleanliness and compliance of inbound trucks and trailers; inspect raw
materials and packaging against company standards.
Documentation Specialist: Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs), lot numbers, and required
paperwork prior to receiving.
Peanut Safety: Oversee aflatoxin testing documentation for incoming shipments, ensuring materials
remain segregated until QA approval is secured.
Shipping Authority: Conduct finished product release procedures; verify lot codes and quantities;
inspect outbound trailers for contamination risks.
Audit Readiness: Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready logs for all inspections and release
activities.
Leadership & Compliance: Apply HACCP principles daily and conduct GMP inspections of common
plant areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to review complex documentation and lot numbers
accurately.
Professional communication skills with the confidence to notify leadership of quality concerns.
Preferred: Experience in food manufacturing QA, warehouse inspection, or knowledge of HACCP,
GMPs, and FSMA.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per shift, climb
stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 75 lbs).
