Temporary Bilingual Interpreter (English/Spanish)
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual English/Spanish interpreter to support a customer training class held at our Chesapeake office. This individual will interpret spoken instruction from an English‑speaking instructor into Spanish for a small group of Spanish‑speaking attendees (approximately 2–3 participants).
This is a temporary, in‑person role supporting scheduled training sessions on specific dates listed above.
Responsibilities:
- Provide real‑time interpretation from English to Spanish during classroom instruction
- Accurately interpret technical discussions related to engine components and systems
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout the training sessions
- Support clear communication between the instructor and Spanish‑speaking participants
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Prior experience as an interpreter or translator preferred
- Mechanical or engine knowledge strongly preferred, including familiarity with topics such as:
- Engines
- Water and oil pumps
- Camshafts and crankshafts
- Injectors
- Ability to translate technical terminology clearly and accurately
Important Notes:
- This is not a remote position
- This role is temporary only and intended solely to support the listed training dates
- Candidates must be available full‑day (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) for each date range
