Pay: $20-$24/HR *Based on Experience

PeopleShare is partnering with a well‑established medical office in Virginia Beach to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity for a detail‑oriented accounting professional who enjoys structured work, vendor interaction, and being a key part of a collaborative finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Process invoices, credit memos, and supplier payments accurately and on time
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Maintain and update vendor/supplier records
Enter payments into vendor portals and retrieve invoices through EDI systems
Assist with month‑end close and general accounting support tasks
Communicate professionally with vendors via phone and email

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
Recent, hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a dynamic office environment
