About the Role
PeopleShare is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance team. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, ensure timely collections, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to collect outstanding balances
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding upcoming and past-due invoices
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies quickly and accurately
- Prepare and process account adjustments (discounts, refunds, fees, etc.)
- Issue and distribute invoices to customers
- Process customer payments, including credit card transactions
- Assist with customer refunds and account reconciliations
- Escalate delinquent accounts per company guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Evaluate credit eligibility for customers requesting payment terms
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable experience in a corporate setting
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (M3 preferred)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented and adaptable
