PeopleShare is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing customer accounts, driving collections, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

✅ What You’ll Do
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collections of outstanding balances
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payment terms, and past-due accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Process invoices, payments, refunds, and account adjustments (credits, fees, discounts)
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate records
- Evaluate customer credit requests and recommend payment terms
- Escalate delinquent accounts in accordance with company policies
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth billing and collections processes
🎯 What You Bring
Education:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Billing experience in a corporate environment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes
- Experience with ERP systems (M3 preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reporting & analysis)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with adaptability in a dynamic environment
