Material Handler – Full-Time
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $15.50/an hour then subject for a raise once perm.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Occasional Saturday or evening shifts may be required
- Targeting a steady 40-hour work week with limited overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and mask surfaces before coating
- Use hand and power tools (sanders, drills, impact wrenches)
- Hang parts for blasting, painting, and powder coating
- Move materials between workstations (blasting, paint, ovens)
- Package and prepare finished products for delivery or pickup
- Store materials safely and maintain proper organization
- Apply grounding techniques when hanging parts
- Read and follow work orders and project documents
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Assist with additional production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver’s license preferred
- Forklift experience a plus (training available)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable wearing PPE
- Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
