Forklift Operator and Warehouse Associate
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (or until work is completed)
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team on the mid shift. This role is ideal for a Forklift Operator who is dependable, safety-focused, and looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position. Candidates must be able to work across departments and handle a variety of warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment including:
- Forklift
- Order Picker
- Reach Truck
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Break down and process incoming materials
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Support receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations
- Use basic computer systems to update inventory and complete workflow tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Complete all assigned tasks before end of shift
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Reliable personal transportation
- Mandatory experience as a Forklift Operator, including Order Picker and Reach Truck operation
- Experience loading/unloading trailers and breaking down received materials
- Strong attendance history with no pattern of frequent absences
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work the full shift and stay until work is completed
Physical & Work Environment Expectations
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet for most of the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willingness to work across departments and adapt to changing priorities
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
