We are hiring an Electrical Testing Technician to perform performance and functional testing on electrical assemblies for a leading manufacturing facility in Hanover, MD. This role is ideal for an Electrical Testing Technician who enjoys diagnostic work, precision testing, and detailed documentation—not assembly. Role Overview
The Electrical Testing Technician will test electrical and mechanical products using diagnostic equipment, document results, and ensure all components meet strict safety and quality standards. As an Electrical Testing Technician, you will play a key role in validating product performance before release.
⭐ Responsibilities
Perform performance and functional testing on electrical and mechanical assemblies
Use diagnostic tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, and power meters
Test circuit breakers, panel boards, bus bars, switchgear, and control panels
Document pass/fail results, corrective actions, and test data
Troubleshoot failures and communicate findings to engineering or production teams
Follow all safety, compliance, and quality procedures
Support continuous improvement efforts within the testing department
⭐ Requirements
Technical degree OR 1–2 years of experience as an Electrical Testing Technician, in electrical testing, manufacturing, or related work
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
Experience with switchgear or electrical testing preferred
Comfortable using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools
Able to lift 25–75 lbs
Steel/composite‑toe footwear required
