In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient production flow by balancing demand, capacity, and resources, ensuring schedules stay on track and operations run smoothly.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Planner, you will:
- Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules using SAP (PP module)
- Align production demand with materials, labor, and machine capacity
- Monitor production execution and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks
- Maintain accurate production data, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, procurement, and manufacturing leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root‑cause analysis efforts
- Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities clearly across teams
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- 5+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on SAP PP experience (required)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and perform under tight deadlines
- Clear communicator who is collaborative, detail‑oriented, and highly proactive
