Job Details for CNC Operator – CNC Machinist:
- Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3pm-1:30am
- Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday 7am-7pm
- 1st Shift and other shifts occasionally available
- Pay Rate: $20-$30+ per hour based on Shift and Experience Level
- Permanent Full Time role
Job Responsibilities & Description for CNC Machine Operator – CNC Machinist:
- Maintain, operate, and perform setup and changeover of CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Grinders, and other computer controlled machinery
- CNC programming involvement: simple program edits, offset adjustments, first piece inspections etc.
- Read and apply blueprints and understand GD&T: Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Refine small metal parts to tolerances of +/- 0.005" and as small as +/- 0.0005”
- Use calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
- Follow and update detailed production checklists
Job Requirements for CNC Machine Operator – CNC Machinist:
- REQUIRED: 2+ years of experience in skilled CNC Machine Operation including setup functions
- REQUIRED: Experience with GD&T and manufacturing blueprints, schematics, or custom drawings
- REQUIRED: Must have reliable transportation – this job is not bus accessible
- Must have excellent work history: 2+ consecutive years in a recent role, with near-perfect attendance record
- PREFERRED: Understanding of CNC programming basics (test run, edit programs, or perform offset adjustments)
- PREFERRED: Precision or CNC Grinding experience
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of G and M code
- Must have a can-do team player attitude
