Finishing Operator Job Details
$17.50/hr during training (6:00am–2:30pm, Mon–Fri for 2–3 weeks)
$18.50/hr after moving to 2nd shift (2:30pm–1:00am, Mon–Thurs)

Finishing Operator Job Responsibilities
Set up and operate finishing and machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, sanders, and drill presses
Interpret prints, sketches, shop orders, and work instructions to complete finishing tasks
Meet daily production and finishing quotas while maintaining strict quality standards
Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance
Handle incoming and outgoing materials, molds, parts, and tooling
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales) to verify accuracy
Inspect final parts to ensure proper dimensions, surface finish, and quality compliance
Finishing Operator Job Requirements
Prior experience in machining, finishing, rubber processing, or manufacturing is preferred
Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and production drawings
Comfortable performing repetitive finishing tasks with accuracy and consistency
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate shop equipment safely
Reliable attendance and ability to transition to 2nd shift after training
Ability to work in a physical, fast‑paced production setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality finished parts
