PeopleShare is seeking an Inventory Specialist that supports daily manufacturing operations by performing routine material-handling tasks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. This role is essential to ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout the facility and that production teams receive timely and accurate support.

Inventory Specialist Job Details:
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour

Inventory Specialist Job Description:

Perform routine manual material-handling duties including kitting, material transfers, stockroom support, and materials distribution.
Cover all shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Replenish and distribute materials to the manufacturing floor according to established guidelines and timelines.
Unpack incoming shipments, verify materials against purchase orders or invoices, and flag early or over-shipments.
Pull and prepare items for shipment; determine routing based on shipping procedures.
Prepare bills of lading and international shipping documentation when required.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Record all incoming and outgoing transactions in the transaction log.
Assist with daily data entry for stockroom and shipping transactions.
Perform cycle counts and support the annual full inventory of the stockroom.

Inventory Specialist Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of cycle counting and inventory management experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
