Job Details for Maintenance Technician:
- Monday-Sunday 6am-630pm or 6pm-630am
- $20-25/hr. based on experience
- Hands-on training provided
- Weekly pay
- Healthcare benefits after 90 days
Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems, including conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing issues to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, inspections, and repairs
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance – preferable in manufacturing setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment not limited to conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communications skills
- Ability to work in an environment with dust and noise, and around equipment with higher than ambient temperatures
- Ability to perform manual lifting, standing, bending for periods of time
- Must pass drug and background screenings
