Warehouse Assistant
Pay Rate: $18.70 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Environment: Cold/Wet environment (35°F)
Required on Day 1: Steel-toe or composite safety shoes
Equipment Used: Manual Pallet Jack
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to assist with box building and material handling in a cold production environment. This role requires the ability to work in a refrigerated workspace and perform consistent physical labor throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Build cardboard boxes for product packaging
- Transport Styrofoam boxes to a designated machine for destruction
- Operate a manual pallet jack to move materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Requirements
- Ability to work in a cold/wet environment (35°F)
- Must wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes starting on Day 1
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attendance and reliability
