Sanitation Associate
π Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
β° Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM β 10:30 PM

Schedule: Monday β Friday | 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
π Status: Temp-to-Hire π What Youβll Do
- Maintain sanitation standards in a USDA-regulated food production facility
- Break down, clean, sanitize, and reassemble manufacturing equipment
- Clean production and non-production areas including floors, walls, and equipment
- Use power tools and cleaning systems (foaming, hand scrubbing, etc.)
- Participate in pre-operational equipment inspections
- Follow all GMPs, SOPs, PPE, and food safety requirements
β What Weβre Looking For
- Prior food sanitation experience required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and chemical handling
- Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in cleaning tasks
- Able to communicate effectively with production and management
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, noisy, and fast-paced environments
πͺ Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; heavier items with equipment or assistance
- Frequent use of hands; occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to work around airborne particles and temperature extremes
- Must meet vision requirements (close, distance, color, depth perception)
