We are hiring a Kitting Technician to support a technical manufacturing environment focused on assembling, inspecting, packaging, and preparing specialized splice kits. As a Kitting Technician, you will inspect, assemble, and package components used in specialized kits. You’ll work with measurement tools, follow detailed instructions, and ensure all materials meet quality and documentation standards. ⭐ Key Responsibilities
A successful Kitting Technician will:
Inspect, clean, package, and kit machined and purchased components
Perform inbound inspection and verify critical dimensions using measurement tools
Enter inbound materials and inventory data accurately
Assemble modified parts and build kits according to detailed specifications
Prepare completed kits for international shipment
Maintain stock levels of packaging and kitting materials
Pick, sort, count, and package small parts with high accuracy
Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Use basic hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, cutters, measuring tools)
Support daily production and quality goals
⭐ Qualifications
To excel as a Kitting Technician, you should have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in warehouse, assembly, or mechanical work preferred
Ability to use hand tools and measurement tools (calipers, gauges, rulers, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with small components
Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift materials throughout the shift
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
Ability to obtain:
Familiarity with splicing components or technical kitting is a plus
