Kitting Technician (Temporary Role)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $19+/hour depending on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Kitting Technician to support production operations by assembling, inspecting, and preparing splice kits and components. This position plays a key role in meeting production timelines, ensuring quality standards, and supporting both internal and external customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, package, and kit parts for splice kits.
- Perform inbound inspections and verify part dimensions.
- Enter materials into inventory systems accurately.
- Assemble and package components to specifications.
- Prepare kits for international shipment.
- Maintain stock levels and a clean, safe work area.
- Use hand tools to pick, sort, and assemble small parts.
- Support production goals and daily workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse, assembly, or mechanical experience preferred.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail with small parts.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to obtain forklift and TWIC Card certification.
- Experience with splicing components or logistics is a plus.
