Plastic Production Technician
Location: Souderton, PA
Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 2‑2‑3 rotation (12‑hour shifts)
We’re hiring a Plastic Production Technician to support high‑volume manufacturing by operating automated injection molding, plastic processing, and assembly equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, machine operation experience, and a commitment to achieving consistent product quality in a fast‑paced production environment.
Plastic Production Technician Responsibilities
Operate injection molding machines, automated assembly lines, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently
Load raw materials, resins, and packaging supplies to keep machines properly stocked
Perform routine cleaning, basic machine care, and preventive maintenance tasks
Monitor molding cycles, adjust machine settings as needed, and troubleshoot minor issues
Offload, inspect, and package finished plastic components according to quality standards
Complete production logs, documentation, and basic computer entries accurately
Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized work area
Plastic Production Technician Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting
Basic computer skills for entering production, quality, and equipment data
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for 12‑hour shifts
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume plastic manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
Reliable, team‑oriented, and committed to maintaining consistent production output
