Manufacturing Leader Wanted: Join us as a Plant Manager!
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours
Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually (depending on experience and education)
About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing organization in the Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive performance across production, planning, sourcing, and shipping. This high-impact role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who excels in fast-paced environments and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant operations including production, planning, sourcing, and shipping
- Build and maintain a safety-first culture while ensuring OSHA, ISO, and environmental compliance
- Manage budgets, labor costs, materials, consumables, and energy usage
- Lead capital projects, including scoping, vendor selection, and project execution
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Planning to maintain accurate schedules and inventory levels
- Partner with R&D and Quality on new product development and implementation
- Manage and develop a team of five direct reports
- Conduct performance reviews, promotions, coaching, and corrective actions
- Approve and maintain manufacturing SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (required)
- 10+ years of progressive operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Adhesive/Paper Plant Management required
- Experience in PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesives) strongly preffered
- Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, OEE, and 6S systems
- Solid understanding of manufacturing financials and cost structures
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
