1st shift CNC Lathe Machinist needed in Bethlehem, PA

Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines, including tooling, fixturing, and entering offsets.
Load programs and perform first‑piece inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Adjust offsets, interpret G & M codes, and make basic program edits as needed.
Run production jobs or transition them to CNC Operators once stabilized.
Work with castings and maintain safety, accuracy, and efficiency throughout operations.
Perform additional duties to support machining and production needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a job shop or production environment.
- Proficient in CNC equipment setup, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plan machining strategies, and perform precise inspections using measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of G & M codes and ability to modify programs when needed.
- Ability to meet physical demands: standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing required PPE.
