Shipping Clerk Job Details:
Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:
- Schedule carrier pickups and prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips
- Generate shipping labels, track shipments, and resolve carrier-related issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records through routine counts and system updates
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to meet shipping deadlines and support workflow efficiency
Shipping Clerk Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or scheduling (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Proficiency with shipping software, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
- Familiarity with corrugated paper products is a plus
