Job Overview:
PeopleShare is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a manufacturing team in Virginia Beach. In this role, you will safely operate powered industrial trucks to move materials, load/unload deliveries, and support production operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain forklifts safely per OSHA standards
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Move stock to machines and storage areas efficiently
- Verify product quality and complete required paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Manufacturing experience a plus
