PeopleShare is hiring a Contract Recruiter for an established company in the essential armored transportation industry out of Moorestown, NJ.
Title: Contract Recruiter
Location: Moorestown, NJ 08057 or Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM to 5:00PM (Flexible, On-site)
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr
Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough interviews to evaluate the qualifications of potential candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements and company culture.
- Employ a proactive approach to sourcing by utilizing diverse channels including cold calling, email campaigns, internet recruiting platforms, recruiting events, and industry trade shows.
- Leverage personal and professional networks, conduct in-depth research, and employ innovative talent acquisition strategies to identify exceptional candidates.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including processing applications, coordinating background checks, verifying credentials, and maintaining accurate records.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly talent acquisition reports, encompassing hire statistics, turnover rates, and recruitment performance metrics.
- Perform various administrative duties, including attending to telephone inquiries, facilitating background checks, and supporting other HR-related tasks as required.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for a diverse range of positions, such as Driver's and/or Transportation roles, Technicians, Vault Tellers, and more.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and align recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Conduct sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing of applicants, ensuring a high standard of candidate selection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, communication, or a related field is required.
- AIRS (Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies) certificate is preferred, showcasing a commitment to advanced recruitment techniques.
- Previous sales and/or telemarketing experience is advantageous, demonstrating a proactive and persuasive communication style.
- A positive and results-driven mindset, acting as a catalyst for personal and team success.
- Prior experience in recruitment and/or sales is preferred, with a track record of successful candidate sourcing and placement.
- Familiarity with Transportation and Over the Road Trucking industry knowledge and terminology is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software for recruitment purposes.
