Housing Coordinator Job Description:
The Housing Coordinator is responsible for securing safe, affordable, and permanent housing for Veterans enrolled in both HUD VASH and SSVF programs. This role focuses on building relationships with landlords, coordinating housing tours and move-ins, conducting habitability inspections, and supporting Veterans throughout the leasing process.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and agency standards, preparing and maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in community outreach and training. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Housing Coordinator Job Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in housing coordination, case management, or a related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in grant writing, budgeting, and financial reporting
Valid driver's license preferred
Confident team leader with strong people management skills
Creative thinker with a fresh perspective and problem-solving mindset
