Production Assistant – Entry-Level (Full-Time)
Starting Pay: $16/hr
Location: Virginia Beach
No experience required – we will train!
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn technical skills in a production environment? We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Production Assistant supporting our Digitizing Technician and operating various high-tech machines.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your Day-to-Day Tasks:
Scan hard patterns into digital files using the Gerber plotter
Use CorelDRAW to create cut files for machines and custom patches
Create digitized embroidery designs with Wilcom Embroidery Studio
Run embroidery and laser cutting machines to produce high-quality products
Follow safety protocols while operating machinery
Review work orders (Job Travelers) to cut the correct materials in accurate amounts
Inspect materials for defects before cutting and maintain high quality standards
Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.) for welding and taping tasks
Keep your workspace clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: No experience needed – we provide hands-on training
Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel); experience with CorelDRAW is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing for long periods
Can read measuring tape/ruler accurately
