Cleanroom Technician Job Description:
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Maintain work flow by following steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points, and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between work areas
- Ensure the production schedule is attained and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Maintain quality and safety by following established standards
- Complete proper documentation for batch records and inventory
- Ensure products are handled per cGMP, ISO, and QMS procedures
- Access work instructions and SOPs through an online QMS
- Complete training for the required products and procedures in the required time
- Ability to use general production equipment – counting machine, balance, shrink wrapping, banding, and stretch wrapping
- Maintain workplace safety per OSHA regulations and relevant training
- Assist with required cleaning of production areas including working with chemicals (isopropyl alcohol, solvents and detergents)
- Perform material transactions and assist with material control and inventory management through the ERP system
- Participate in required company meetings
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
- Other duties as assigned
Packaging:
- Assemble and package medical devices and components in tubes, blisters and pouches using tray and impulse sealers
Labeling:
- Generate labels using customer and internal software
- Apply labels to packaging following work instructions and SOPs
- Ability to pay attention to detail – accuracy of information, quantities, and quality of printing
Inspecting:
- Ability to critically review work by others to confirm accuracy and quality. Technicians will frequently be required to check the work of other Technicians to provide four-eyes quality control
- Ability to completely understand and apply work instructions and SOPs to the production line
Cleanroom Technician Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience working in a clean room with packaging equipment (tray and impulse sealers)
- Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing required protective clothing -- overalls, hood (hair covering), mask (mouth), beard cover (if necessary) and shoes
- Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, speak, and understand English
- US citizen
