We have an opportunity with a Pharmaceutical client in Moorestown, NJ 08057 for a Packaging Room Lead. We are looking for candidates with previous experience performing hands-on assembly of products or packaging medications. Previous experience and knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Pharmaceutical experience is strongly desired.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr
Duration: 4 month contract-to-hire (pay raise to $22/hr upon conversion to full-time)
Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Packaging Room Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Packaging Room Supervisor, the Packaging Room Lead will be responsible for completing primary and secondary packaging room activities according to established procedures. Responsibilities include leading Associates within the Packaging Room as well as new hire training of procedures. 10% of job is in refrigerator, must be okay with the cold!
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual bottle filling and inspection.
- Fill and inspect blister strips and blister cards.
- Apply labels manually, assemble packaging components, and conduct inspection procedures.
- Operate semi-automated packaging equipment in primary and secondary packaging rooms.
- Conduct major and minor cleaning tasks in packaging rooms and on equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Experience training and leading individuals in a production or packaging environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well with others.
- Understanding of cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Manual dexterity and ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and observance of safety procedures.
- Proficiency in English literacy and basic mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and cGMP standards is preferred.
