We are a growing company looking to hire a Press Operator running the Envelope Adjuster to support our team.
Job Description
The Press Operator - Envelope Adjuster is responsible for setup and operation of W+D 527 envelope converter, give shift guidance of operators, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and clean equipment/work area. Must follow and enforce all health and safety rules and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Organizing material and operating the W&D 527 for all envelope production.
- Sets up converting equipment in a variety of configurations to meet work order specifications.
- Performs quality inspections to ensure accurate measurements of envelope, window, and flap dimensions.
- Maintain production schedules.
- Give shift guidance to Envelope Converting Operators to ensure they perform efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoots problems, repairs and replaces damaged or worn components of machine.
- Informs Supervisor on inventory issue related to materials.
- Ensure all shift workers follow health and safety rules and regulations including wearing protective equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience required in W+D 527 and Envelope Adjusting
- Capable of working with Flexo printing, Web and Blanker feed set ups.
- Able to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift to 40 pounds.
- Possess mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
