Assembler Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Pay Rate: Pay $17 - $19/hour (depending on position and schedule)
Assembler Job Description:
- Perform a variety of operations incidental to the preparation, processing, and assembly of cables, controls, control systems, and other assemblies.
- Work from verbal instructions.
- Perform repetitive assembly operations and assembles a variety of units including the use of assembly machine tools.
- Performs all manufacturing tests of assemblies and components including proof tests and electrical test set operation.
- Checks own work using simple measuring instruments.
- Reports all unusual and difficult problems to Supervisor.
- Keep work area, machines and equipment clean, properly oiled for efficient operation and report need for maintenance repairs to Supervisor.
