Contract Opportunity: Personal Injury Paralegal – Join a Leading Philadelphia Law Firm!
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to support a respected legal team in Philadelphia. This is an exciting contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Position Details:
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 5 to 10 months (with potential for permanent hire)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime available)
Pay Rate: $26 – $31 per hour
Work Environment: Fast-paced and collaborative legal setting
Key Responsibilities:
Support two attorneys by drafting legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests for both NJ and PA cases
Schedule depositions, manage discovery, and file legal pleadings
Transcribe attorney dictation and organize case files
Communicate with clients, physicians, witnesses, and interpreters
Arrange transportation and travel for clients as needed
Maintain legal calendars and track court dates and deadlines
Collect medical records and verify related billing
Draft complaints, motions, and other legal documents
Ensure all filings meet state and federal compliance standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Experience using legal case management systems such as Needles, Litify, or Salesforce
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
