Bilingual Paralegal

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our Personal Injury team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload. Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible, remote work options as needed & OT Available)
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 + Annual Bonus Based on Settlements Won.

Key Responsibilities for a Paralegal:

Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys to enhance law office effectiveness.
Communicate with clients, law offices, insurance adjusters, medical offices, and experts.
Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters from start to finish.
Open and close case files, including obtaining and organizing medical records, police reports, and other documents.
Paralegals must interact and contact existing clients daily, managing a caseload of up to 80 cases.
Respond to incoming calls and voicemails promptly.
Assist in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Draft and file complaints, motions, briefs, arbitration statements, discovery demands, and interrogatory responses.
Review discovery materials and summarize deposition testimony.
Maintain and manage court calendars, scheduling depositions and deadlines.
Draft correspondence and monitor deadlines effectively.
Prepare disbursement of settlement funds and request checks from the accounting department.
Conduct client intake interviews and answer inquiries from potential new clients.
Paralegals must conduct research as needed and maintain accurate case status notes in our case management system.
