About the Role:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager with a strong background in manufacturing or production and proven leadership experience. This role oversees customer scheduling, delivery, and administrative functions while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and team development. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, highly organized, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee customer scheduling & delivery processes, ensuring on-time production and shipments
- Collaborate with Homebuilding Operations and plant production teams to resolve quality or delivery issues
- Drive operational planning, resource allocation, and staffing decisions
- Ensure compliance with safety programs and audits to maintain a safe work environment
- Manage key operational expenses and implement cost control strategies
- Improve process efficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in company-wide initiatives and leadership development
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive leadership/management experience
- Background in manufacturing or production is a must
- Strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels
- Ability to train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
